Training

Volunteer Orientation/Dog Handling 101/Cat Handling 101 - June 27th. Sign-up is required though so if interested contact matt@maxfundvolunteers.org for more details.

Dog Handling LIVE 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of each month at 10, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month at noon! (Subject to change, please see Training Page for latest information)

Cat Handling LIVE 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month (except July, which will be July 3rd due to holiday) at noon! (Subject to change, please see Training Page for latest information)

Volunteer Opportunities

Mobile Adoption Location Coordinators - willing to take one or two locations under their belt and organize schedules, volunteers, and dogs to make sure mobiles run smoothly!
Event Team - If you are interested in helping lead and coordinate events
Champs Program - Training some of the more challenging dogs at the shelter in its six-week format! Just started June 6th, so stay tuned for next class start date!
Lobby Greeters - Helping with every part of the adoption process, a great way to take stress off the staff and ensure higher quality care for potential adopters!
Volunteer Mentors - Helping new volunteers learn the ropes
