Coal

Hi, I'm Coal. I was found as a stray in Westminster, and some nice person brought me here. Frankly, I don't think I belong here. I should be in a home where I can have my space and love.
So the volunteers here say that I am kind of superficial. See, I don't like petting by everyone. But the volunteers have noticed that I really like young, attractive people. I let them pet me and love me. Is that bad to discriminate? I can't help it. There is something about their energy that I really like. Perhaps it is the confidence of young people. I particularly like young males. But sadly, we don't have many young men come to the shelter. So I rarely get love, because I won't let the older folks pet me.
If I like you, I will let you pet me. In fact, I like to be pet. I may not always want a lot of petting, but I'll let you know when to stop. I do enjoy rubbing up on you, and I will cry for attention.
I am not sure if I like other cats. There are a lot of cats here, so I may just be overwhelmed with so many. I may be ok with just one at your house. Here at the shelter, I just try to find my own space where other cats will leave me alone. I have to be on guard all the time, which is no fun. I hope you will rescue me from that! I am a beautiful girl who just wants another chance on life. Will you take me? Please!
