Hello! As my picture may show, I've had a very rough time in life so far! I was initially found on the side of the road -- emaciated, poorly nourished, and with skin conditions. Unfortunately, the folks who took care of me for months afterwards did not address my medical needs.
Thank Goodness for MaxFund! I arrived here about 2 weeks ago, 20 pounds underweight and literally starving. I am receiving top medical care and am on the fast road to recovery! I'm being treated with antibiotics, probiotics, immune system-boosting injections, excellent nutrition, and PLENTY of good lovin'! I feel so much better already! Despite my previous neglectful care, I remain a dog with IMPECCABLE character! I'm extremely friendly, loving, and well-balanced.
I absolutely ADORE everyone, and will even let you take my food away even though I still tend to "wolf" my meals. I trust humans to do what's right for me! I may look a bit ragged around the edges, but just WAIT! MaxFund is so excited about snapping some AFTER pictures as I grow healthier and healthier. I also appear to be house-broken! (I don't like to soil my kennel, and will "hold it" until I get some outside exercise.) Right now I am only available for foster care since I'm not quite strong enough to be neutered. As a foster dog, all of my medical needs will be supplied free of charge by MaxFund. I'm am the epitome of a "diamond in the rough!"
