Grits

Hi. My name is Grits. I know, it’s a bit unusual, but what can I say? Someone who knew me really liked southern food I guess. I was found as a stray in Lakewood years ago. The person who rescued me had already rescued three cats and couldn't keep another one, so I ended up here at MaxFund. I had a broken tail, so it had to be amputated. Don’t worry, that was long ago and I have no troubles now. I’m cute as can be and I have so much love to share. Hopefully, you’ll adopt me so I can share it with you!
I was adopted a few years ago, but my family brought me back to MaxFund because they couldn’t take care of me any more. I am so sad to be back here, but I have high hopes that I will find a home where I am loved and taken care of for the rest of my days. I am a very friendly cat and I adore people but I have a really hard time being around other cats, so I need to live in a home without any other cats. I’ve never been around dogs before so I don’t know how I feel about them. What I do know is that I am sweet as can be and I will let you smoother me in kisses. I enjoy having you pet me too.
I absolutely LOVE toys. Give me a toy, and I'll chase it around my cage and entertain myself. I like all types of people and I would be a perfect cat for you to spend your time relaxing with. We can hang out and cuddle and then we can play run around. Doesn’t that sound fun?I would love nothing more than a family and a home of my own where I can relax and be loved. Please grant my wish today and take me home!
