Jem

I was livin' life on the streets. I had to fend for myself. I never had the chance to love or be loved - until I was brought to Maxfund. It's amazin' what that "LOVE" thing will do to a fella'. I'm a changed boy!!!!!
I'm interacting with all kinds of nice people, men, women, kids too!!!!! (the ones that know how to treat us furries) I just LOVE the attention. I'm currently enrolled in CHAMPS classes. I know my name, lay down, give kisses, and I am walking better everyday with my walking harness and leash. If we have to cross a street, and you tell me "Wait", I will, - until you tell me "Lets Go", then we can start walking again!!!
Maxfund doesn't think that I've ever had a home. So if someone would like to foster me and show me the ropes of home life, that would be great!! Or if you would like to adopt me, that would be even greater!!!! I like the thought of my own home, I would just need a little guidance.
I show some mild interest in cats and other small animals, ( they look like they would be fun to chase) and I get a bit anxious around other dogs, so I would do best as an only pet.
I LOVE to go on walks, roll in the grass, and have my tummy rubbed. I like to ride in the car too. I'm still kinda gettin used to it, sometimes it feel like I'm surfin'!!!! But what I LOVE most, is at the end of our busy day, is to lay my head in your lap, and cuddle up with you. I never knew what I was missin'.
So, if you got lots of LOVE and patience to give - I have lots of LOVE to give back. We can learn from each other!!!
