Teddie

I was found as an injured stray so not much is known about me. MaxFund has gotten me better and now I am ready for my new home. I have been here for a couple of years, and frankly I am tired of it.
I am really scared of the other cats here. So I growl and hiss when I am let out of my cage. Sometimes, I may even get cranky when I am in my cage. Once, I got sick and was in a quarantine room away from other cats. While I was there, I was sweeter and let people pet me for a while. Unfortunately, when I am in the cat room and there are lots of cats running around, you can't see my sweetness.
I am getting friendlier all the time. I hope you will know that and don't just react based on my behavior here. I am different when I am all alone. I am an independent girl. So I probably won't be a cat that sits in your lap all day. But I will be a cat that loves you in my own way. I am a little scared to hope for a home too much. For a couple of years, I have had to live with the disappointment of watching other cats go home while I remain stuck in a cage.
I like to play with string and become very alert when you swing a string near me. I am a good girl who just wants a home. Ask the front desk if you can meet me. I sure would like to meet you!! Please!!!!! Come rescue me!

Please contact Anne at fosters@maxfundvolunteers.org if you are interested in fostering me.
