Special Events - These are events whose main purpose is MaxFund awareness and/or MaxFund fundraising. Events may be events specifically for MaxFund, or other events MaxFund is taking part in. Depending on the event, we may need just a few volunteers, or we may need dozens of volunteers.
Mobile Adoptions - The main focus of mobile adoptions is increasing exposure for our adoptable pets. These typically (but not always) take place at area PetsMart or PETCO locations. Most mobile adoptions are four hours long, and volunteers may participate by volunteering for a two hour shift or the entire four hours. (Please note - Volunteers interested in helping out at Mobile Adoptions must have completed the dog handling class. If you've gone through orientation since around May 2007, you'll have had the dog handling class included in your orientation. If your orientation was prior to May 2007, and you haven't taken the dog handling 101 class which used to be offered separately, please contact me about attending the dog handling portion of an upcoming orientation)
Colorado Mammoth Game  Colorado Mammoth (Denver's National Lacrosse League team) Night!
 Friday, April 16th 7pm
 Pepsi Center
 We really need people to buy tickets to support the Mammoth with a portion of ticket sales going to MaxFund! If you've never seen the Mammoth play, maybe now is the time! Many of our volunteers have season tickets, they are a blast to watch! We MAY have a booth that we can use some volunteer help with but that information is still coming.

Molly-Dharma Motorcycle Run The 4th Annual Molly-Dharma Motorcycle Run

Starting off at the South Platte Grille, going for a ride through the mountains and ending up for a block party at the shelter!
Looking for two sets of volunteers (and you can be one of both of course) - one to help out starting immediately with helping organize, solicit donations, etc. The second set is the group of volunteers that will help with the event the day of - helping with the event day checking in riders, helping with the block party at the shelter and cleaning up afterwords!
