Mobile Adoptions involve taking animals to sites such as PetsMart's and PETCO's in the hopes of getting them adopted, as well as raising awareness and often funds for MaxFund! Some mobile adoptions are small, just a few people at a location on a weekend, some mobile adoptions are huge events with 50+ volunteers! We can use help at all of these, both manning the mobile adoptions but also helping coordinate them!
We have many volunteers who have been "trained" in coordinating these mobiles, and would love to have even more! If you are interested, email Matt at matt@maxfundvolunteers.org. (Please note - Volunteers interested in helping out at Mobile Adoptions must have completed the dog handling class. If you've gone through orientation since around May 2007, you'll have had the dog handling class included in your orientation. If your orientation was prior to May 2007, and you haven't taken the dog handling 101 class which used to be offered separately, please contact me about attending the dog handling portion of an upcoming orientation)
