How are orders taken? - The absolute best way to order these custom items is through the Online Store at www.maxfundvolunteers.org/store. Order forms will be available at the shelter for those who prefer to order by mail, but internet ordering makes it much easier and more reliable for you to order, to help Matt keep track of orders, and to handle the shipping fo the items once they are ordered. Electronic orders ensures accuracy of shipping information, receipts, and no later questions about orders, issues, etc.
How are payments made? - Clothing must be paid for at the time of order! Paypal is the preferred method of payment, and using your paypal account you can pay with VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, bank debit cards, or even electronically withdraw from your checking account. Your credit card/bank account info is never transmitted to myself or anyone other than Paypal. Paypal is the primary payment program used on ebay and thousands of other internet stores, in addition to MaxFunds online donations. All paypal transactions are guaranteed 100% against theft, fraud, or any other security issues. If you are unable to or dont want to use Paypal, you may pay by check (check information will be available after you order the item from the online store or on the order forms, and must be received prior to the July 31st deadline).
When do I have to order by/when will I receive it? - Orders will be taken throughout the months of June and July, and Deadline for custom orders is Thursday, July 31st. If you order August 1st, it will be too late and you won't get what you want! The custom order will include several clothing options that WON'T be stocked or available after the custom order... this is the ONLY time they will be available. Last year we did a clothing run the month before Christmas, but likely won't be doing another Christmas run this year since this run will be extended into the end of July. Order now for Christmas presents! Orders will be delivered in August after shirts have been printed.
How is shipping handled/can I pick up the item at the shelter? - One clothing item (shirt, sweatshirt, etc.) is shipped for $3, two or more (up to an unlimited amount) are shipped for $5. Due to space, security, and staff availability at the shelter, It is HIGHLY recommended you have the items shipped, rather then picking up at the shelter. Although shelter pickup will be an option, PLEASE have the item shipped to your home or business address, for your sake and MaxFund's.
